ABOUT THIS BOOK

London 1910

Budding Private Decective Cyril Arlington Hartwell has a conundrum. London is being ravaged by the largest run of thefts in recent history. His hunch that it is all tied together may put him and those he loves in more danger then he could have reckoned.

Olivia Larken Hartwell is just home from broading school for the summer anticipating time with her adoring parents. She misses her absent brother, Cyril, hoping one day he will finally come home. But tragedy strikes, causing upheaval for all concerned and changes her life in a way she never could have imagined.

Olivia, Cyril, and their friends must bring the hidden light, seek to execute justice, and dispel the darkness that hovers over London... and their hearts.

MY REVIEW

Okay, so I am still be fangirling about this book even though I finished it a few days ago. I am being completely honest when I say that everyone NEEDS to read this book, espically if you like mystery and suspense novels that deliver a great gospel message. This book was filled with action and mystery from page one until the very last page. It was filled with plot twist after plot twist, all of which made you sit on the edge of your seat hoping and waiting to see what happens next. It was really hard to set this book down once, I started.

I was in shock a few times by some of the plot twists but then there were others that had my hearts bursting with joy! Espically the one in the epilogue!!

I loved all the characters. It took me till nearly the very end of the book to start liking Cyril, but once I got to the last few chapters I feel in love with his character. I also really loved Mrs. Hobbs, Dubley, and Mr. Dubley. They were all so sweet, kind, and just amazing! I had one other character that I really loved but for spoiler reasons I won't mention his name. But his character devolpment was amazing and I was very happy with the decision he made at the very end of the book!!

Also, the faith aspect was written and explained very well. All the faith and scripture refrences made me really happy inside!!

The action and plot was written so well, and I really cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I really recommend reading this book, if you haven't already!! Just read it, I know that you'll love it! ;)
