Crazy Summer

It is hard to believe that summer is winding down in the next few weeks. I decided this summer I was going to be present with my kids more. Therefore, I haven't blogged much. We've had a great summer filled with swimming, friends, picking fruit (strawberries and blueberries), the farmers market, a trip to Six Flags, BBQ, bicycling, slurpies, ice cream, the beach, and more. In just four days, Abigail, Grace, and Naomi will start school. I cannot believe that I have two high schoolers! The rest of the kids start school next week. I have discovered that school shopping for 8 kids is super time consuming. My to do list never shrinks! I hope you all had a great summer! Below are pictures from our summer. I will try to be better about blogging in the upcoming weeks.

DJ helping Wayne put together a picnic table.

My babies 6th birthday!

Wayne and his radiation nurse, who also runs an amazing non-profit called Christmas Without Cancer.

I had to talk to four different park officials to get approval for Shan Chen to ride this ride, but that smile was worth it! (Side note: I never read the signs at six Flags about who can ride the rides until I had children with missing limbs.)

Our ER trip with Joella's who was accidentally hit in the head with a metal bat.

We participated with Christmas Without Cancer at a 4th of July parade.

Dress like a cow for free food?? Absolutely!

Our school garden project did very well.
