Habakkuk 2:14 "For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the water cover the sea."
We took a family vacation for spring break at Gulf Shores State Park. We had such a wonderful time making family memories. The weather was beautiful for most of the trip. We saw so many different animals...a bobcat and armadillo walked right near our camp site. The kids also enjoyed walking and riding their bikes to see alligators. We also loved how close we were to the beach. Wayne and I enjoyed the freedom the older kids were able to experience while we were there. They took numerous bike rides to the beach and the pool...exploring some freedom in a safe environment. Wayne, Shan Chen and I enjoyed a morning bike ride while we were there. We biked over 70 miles during our stay! We plan on going to Gulf Shores again in the future. While we were there, we also took some updated family photos.
Bobcat that walked behind our trailer on the biking trail.
Tennis
Enjoying the pool!
One of our many family bike rides.
We took the girl's friend, Meghan, with us to Gulf Shores. They loved reuniting with their "other sister".
Shan Chen met up with his foster sister on our way home from Alabama!
After pictures at the beach, we went out to dinner. This was the place the kids chose that night. We didn't get out food until 9:30pm.
We had a 90 minute wait for the restaurant, so we took the kids to play miniature golf.
The campground had a pool, tennis courts, and a basketball court...along with over 28 miles of bike paths.
My nature loving girl! She's always finding everything unique at the beach.
Joella flew her first kite. The wind was perfect for flying kites.
Shan Chen, with the help of his sisters, caught a seagull. Thank you tiktok for this "wonderful" idea. At least it taught them teamwork.
Hiding from the seagulls.
Our nightly visitor.
Church while camping. While we were listening to the sermon, we noticed the crosses in the tree behind us.
Visiting Buc-cees...one of the coolest gas stations we've visited.
We got to visit other friends in Alabama.
How you transport 11 bikes!
