A Month of Thanks: Day 5

Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” 

I almost forgot to blog what I was thankful for today. Here are the two for today.

1. Abigail: I am so thankful that God blessed us with Abigail over 12 years ago. Abigail is the one that officially made me a mom, which was a fulfillment of a dream that I had since I was a young girl. I am blessed to call her my daughter and it has been a joy to see her grow and mature. I look forward to what God has in store for her as she continues grows in her knowledge of God. She has a sweet spirit, can talk your ear off, loves others, and is just a joy to have in our house. We are so blessed to have Abigail as our daughter.

2. Grace: We are grateful to God for blessing our family 11 years ago with Grace. She keeps me on my toes! Grace is a huge help around the house with her sisters. She has a love for babies and little kids. She tells us all the time that she is going to have lots of kids and adopt. Grace loves to write music, draw, play piano...anything artistic. Getting Grace to complete her homework is sometimes a challenge. She'd rather be drawing or being creative then doing math and English. Grace can be her sister's biggest cheerleader. She is still learning how to control her tongue to be used as a blessing to those around her. We are thankful that God saw fit to bring Grace into our family!
