Proverbs 16:9 “The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
Our travel plans have been everywhere the last 20 hours! Because of the typhoon, our train was canceled. We could possibly risk trying the 9th, but they would probably cancel that one too. We decided to book a flight to Wuxi, near where we need to end up.
Unfortunately, this morning we found out our flight was delayed until midnight and our friend was worried it would be canceled. So, now we rushed around and are taking a different train that will take us northwest. Pray for us because we have to navigate a train transfer on our own. Wei Wei wrote me a note to hand to people to ask for help. She is so sweet to think of that for us.
Lord willing, we will be in Changshu tonight by 11pm. Nothing like keeping this trip exciting and us on our toes. The kids are learning a lot through this and they are troopers!! The good thing is that we have all been very flexible, which is much needed in crazy, chaotic times like these. It’s been fun seeing Joella become confident in navigating subways. She walks ahead of us and can figure out where we are going. This has been such a great learning experience for all of us that has helped us all grow.
