Just wanted to update everyone...Wayne is home!! I arrived at the hospital around 10:00 this morning and we left the hospital around 12:30. It was so wonderful to see Wayne walking and back to "normal". We know this is just the first step of many, but we are excited to be done with this first stage. He hasn't had a seizure in almost 48 hours. The number of pill bottles in my kitchen window is a constant reminder that this isn't over, but baby steps. Tomorrow he can remove the bandage from his head and then Sunday he can wash his hair. He can't wait for that step since he smells like a chemical factory between all the surgical stuff they put on his head and the glue from the EEG last night. It is just wonderful to hear his voice and have his presence at home. The girls are thrilled as well to have him home!
